Pre-registration for the 1 mile Fun Run/Walk can be completed through your school’s Physical education Department, or by mailing the completed registration form to the address shown below. The registration fee is $5.00 and does not include a commemorative T-shirt. Please do not mail registration form after Sept. 4th. The registration fee is non-refundable.

Check in and On-site Registration: Saturday, September 22 from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m. at Saint Joseph Berea, 305 Estill Street, Berea, KY. All participants need to report at least 30 minutes prior to start time.

The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. in front of Saint Joseph Berea, 305 Estill Street, Berea, KY
T-shirts: Commemorative T-shirts (youth & adult sizes) can be purchased as part of the per-registration process at $8.00 each. A limited quantity of T-shirts will be sold the morning of the event at $10.00 per shirt. Walk Route: Visit www.spoonbreadfestival.com for map
Awards / Prizes:
Please note the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is NOT timed and therefore individual prizes will NOT be awarded. However, one Physical Education Department from an area school (Berea Community or Madison County systems) with the most event registrations (students, staff, parents & other adults) in the Fun Run/Walk will receive a $500 check from the Berea Chamber of Commerce and the Spoonbread Festival. Each participant will also earn points for their school in the Madison County Triple Crown Series, which includes an additional cash prize for the winning school, later in the fall upon completion of the Spoonbread Festival 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, the Pattie A. Clay Starlight Mile and the Pumpkin Run/Walk.
